Default Considering new wheels - 285/35/19 tire question???

So I am seriously considering the following wheels as I want to stay 19in / I want a wheel that saves weight (1/2 mile racing, track days, etc...) / and I want to try and stay with a Japanese theme with my car (just a thing).

Advan RGIII Racing Hyber Black - 19x9 +25, 19x10.5 +35 (RCF fitment)

Here is my suggested tire sized (NOTE: plan to drop with Swift or RSR springs also):

Front - 255/35/19 (9 in front wheel just like the stock wheels so why not stay with the same size)

Rear - 285/35/19 (Since it is a 10.5 rear wheel looked at going a little bigger to not stretch the 275 and put a bit more tire on the road)

Does anyone see an issue with going to the 285/35/19 tire with this setup? The main difference I see is this tire is .3 taller...but that is only a 1.1% increase in diamter???

Thanks.

Most folks are going with a 295/30/19 in the rear, with that width wheel you could go with a 305/30/19. The 305/30/19 is .3" smaller in OD then the 275/35/19. If it were me, I'd be looking at the 305.

BTW, I like your choice in wheels.

Something to consider while choosing a different size/brand of tire, is the weight of the tire itself. The stock MPSS weigh 27 lbs in the rear and 24 lbs. Depending on the size of the tire, some times that weight goes up.

No rubbing on the street set up - a little rubbing on track set up in extreme turns - need to modify/cut inner well
