Default Who has the RR racing tune? Thoughts?

Hey guys,

I am interested in the tune by RR racing. Going to call them tomorrow. I wanted to know a few things...

1. All i have is a borla catback. Is it worth it for me?

2. Have any of you had any issues such as cel, or engine problems?

3. What's your favorite thing abt the tune?

I have the RR tune with the Borla exhaust.
I have had the tune for a little over a month. No complaints .
My favorite thing about it is how smooth my car feels now. Power feels linear all the way up the RPM band. Eliminates the need for the Apexi throttle controller. My butt dyno doesn’t feel much of a significant gain but I love how smooth it is.

With a full System + tune you still cant feel the gain? :O

I've read some folks that posted, they felt the gain with their butt dyno by just installing an aftermarket Intake (which i find hard to believe)

Hey man, you can drive my stock car and compare your 'dyno'
i certainly wouldn't mind testing your car for a comparison.

Good info! That's what ive been reading that power comes very smooth. But weird that you don't feel any big difference. Most ppl who praise the tune have headers but I don't think ill be doing that. My main thing was if it hurts cars reliability. So good to know that no issues.

With the tune I feel like it is how the car should have been. Prior to the tune, my car felt jerky and it would hesitate Under full throttle. All of which is gone now. Throttle response is great, power is linear and smooth. RR Racing is well known for their product and their customer service is great.

I can tell you, I feel like it was money well spent.

Plus one. No hesitation around corners either. No issues at dealership. I got intake, exhaust and tune and def noticed a difference

Yes, but how ever you send it. They send it back the same way. I took mine to fedex and had them pack it, insure it, and overnight it.

You should get headers to get the max out of it.

Throw some PPE headers on your car, you'll love it even more. Makes the car into a beast.

I do have PPE headers... just haven’t gotten around to install it.
