That's a lot like "what MPG do you get?" It all depends on how you drive. Better is a relative term - better right now in the northeast is probably snow tires, but even here in Atlanta, better at this time of year has been all-season tires simply because we've had a few days where driving on summer tires would permanently damage them. Better could also mean AD08's or RE71's for track duty. What does better mean to you?

^^^^Actually, the Continental DWS is an all season tire. The DWS stands for Dry, Wet, Snow. Continental's tires labeled DW (Dry, Wet) are their summer only tires.
However, I will never buy another buy another Continental Tire again, as outlined in a couple of threads on this forum.

^^^^My problem, with the ExtremeContact DW, showed up well after 60 days. They developed a terribly loud sing. Continental's customer service folks were of absolutely no help, and were extremely rude. Luckily Discount Tire came to the rescue and gave me full credit for them. I switched to Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Positions and have been super happy with them.

I had Continental ExtremeContact DW summer UHP on my Corolla XRS. 2nd worst tires I have ever purchased (behind the Kumho ECSTA ASX tires). With only 15,000 km, the tires were cupping badly causing harsh vibrations. Extremely noisy even on smooth surfaces and still too soft for a performance oriented tire. Had to throw them out. Would not recommend them.
Having said that, Michelin Pilot PS4S would be the best tire you can put on the RCF. They are much better than the MPSS we got. They are also XL rated (our OEMs are not), which makes them more handling focused with better steering response and less tire roll under high G loads. Also, wet traction according to reviews is also an improvement on the PS4S.

Not only does the PS4S perform well, it's the best looking sidewall design out there IMO:

I’ve been using Yokohama AD08R as my track tire.
Awesome traction, good wear properties.
Actually a decent street tire wet and dry as long as temp is above 35-40 degrees. Below 30 these tires are totally useless and scary.
But if you like to carve canyons in warm weather, give em a try.
