Default Subs

Has anybody added subs in the RCF? Wondering if it's possible to bypass the stock sub, and run a couple aftermarket subs. Or maybe even run that too, with aftermarket. I miss some of that hard 'bump' I used to have. Granted, I am listening to the exhaust more lately but it's nice to know I can bump some tunes in traffic.

Thoughts? Cheers!!!

Of course, 100% possible.
Can leave the factory sub going also if you want, but most of the time it should be disconnected or removed as you won't hear it anyhow if you do a proper aftermarket setup.
And I'm with you on listening to the exhaust! I RARELY listen to music in my FBO ISF as the exhaust sounds soooo good! But I install high end aftermarket systems everyday and have 2 comp/spl vehicles that have numerous world records and that I have 15 word titles in the past 4 seasons....so they take care of my bass needs if need be😋!

Hello my first Rcf had a non ML sound system , my local Best Buy audio tech was able to replace the oem sub with a kicker one and add an app to it , he also left the oem sub connected for the interior speakers , speakers were upgraded to alpine type rs .

I agree. No problem.
I have installed a 8 Channels DSP Mosconi Amplifier and to avoid possible vibrations with Subwoofer , I have installed two types of sound proofing on the doors and the rear tray.
Very happy with this work because I didn't have the Mark Levinson on my car and with my previous RX450H (2015) the basic equipment I think was a Pionneer (sounding good to me) but with the RCF I could not find any info and the sound was quite disgusting with the basic equipment.
The advice of the installer was to add specially the sound proofing on the rear tray.
My car was coming with any on it.
