Please help-Metal bar fell off RCF
Hi guys, I picked up my RCF last week with 3k miles on the odometer. Relatively speaking it’s a brand new car in mint condition; low mileage, no scratches, etc. however as I was driving today I heard a metallic noise scraping against the road. I immediately pulled over and pulled this metallic bar off from under the drivers side closer to the rear wheels. I’m a little nervous it might be something off the chassis, but I’m not sure. Are you guys able to tell if this part is off the RCF?

that's a file, aka a tool, someone probably dropped it in the engine bay and it fell through and got stuck on top of the belly pans,, been there done that.
either than or you picked it up on the road somewhere, if you did be glad it didn't puncture anything.
but no that is not off the RCF, that is a tool for filing metal. (like a nail file for metal parts).

Not everyone works with tools, not everyone paints, not everyone farms, not everyone knows the ins and outs of computers, etc. We are all who we are, we do what we do, and we all live in our own worlds and focus on what is important to us. I've met a lot of people on forums over the past 15 years and it's easy to see, everyone is different.
Hell I know a guy that spent 20 years working for Factory Motor Parts, one of the bigger suppliers of OEM parts to dealerships and garages in the country, he was a customer service rep that took parts orders, they guy can rattle of any part for most makes and models, knows how the parts work together and which sub parts go with which parts, and guess what, dude can't change a tire or oil on a car, to him you put the key in turn it and drive, if it breaks you take it to a garage.. He knows nothing about cars but knows all the parts that go on them..
