Tinted daytime running lights illegal?

Tinted daytime running lights illegal?
Today I got my daytime running lights tinted red,
I've seen a multiple RC's owners online get them tinted various colors but after getting mine done I'm paranoid that I'll be pulled over, has anyone who's had them tinted had any problems with getting pulling over/tickets? In the daytime they look red, at night they're a bit lighter in color and look more of a pink, I've heard some get away with having colored fog lights on a vehicle but they can't be blue, red or green so I'm wondering if these would fall under that category?
Is yellow, pink, purple, colors you think they would let slide and not enforce as illegal?
Thanks in advance for any help regarding this I wasn't able to find anything out in my state laws about daytime running lights specifically.

I think generally in the front of the vehicle white or amber/yellow is ok. Anything else is asking for trouble.

Mine DRL have been yellow for 18 months. No cop has ever pulled me over.
I’ve even had my headlights yellow for a while. I really liked them except I got so much flack from my friends saying it was a ricer mod. I thought the car looked super cool during the day, like a cup race car. I will say, at night, the yellow head lights were a bit obnoxious.
Red lights on anything but tail lights has got to be asking for trouble.
Plus, do you really want pink lights at night??

It is actually state/city specific. In other words, you really need to check where you live and if you live in a territory where it is a violation and/or if law enforcement has some **** characters.
You did not hear this from me, but if a cop pulls you over for tinted DRL's, he/she is **** and if you offer to peel the tint off in front of them, it usually gives them their power/authority rush and you will get off with a warning.

Do you have any photos of the car with the yellow headlights,
On the day and in the night.
Also, do you have any photos of those yellow DRL lights on in the dark

To be perfectly honest....
They both look great haha. Your car looks amazing with such a small enhancement... Very unique.
Having them both yellow looked the best in my opinion and I didn't get a ricer vibe from it. Especially on a white car, it gives it a nice Pop. ( just maybe having the black hood with the yellow lights might give them ammunition to say ricer but haters are going to hate ).
Were there any other draw backs from either DRL or headlights heading yellow tint that you noticed?

No drawbacks imo.
The yellow tint is still on the car after 18 months.
Think the angle of the DRL, not much rocks hit it so it holds up well.
I removed headlight smoke tint. Was getting way too beat up from being on track.
Lights have expel ppf on them now for protection.
Following other cars on the track is like having your car sand blasted.

It varies from state to state. If the color of your light output is a deep blue or red you have a good chance of getting pulled over.
I've had blue tint on the foglights of my LS430 for the past four years and never had a problem. My light output is still white with a very slight blue tint. I also had pink tint on my SC300 without any trouble. The only time I had any trouble was when I had deep blue fog LED light bulbs in my LS430.
