I called my Lexus dealership where I purchased the car. They informed me that they will not do a recall till I receive a letter from Lexus.

That's not good service if indeed the vehicle in question is included in the recall per year, make, model, and/or VIN#.

The F was dropped off today for the recall campaign. I'm hoping to get it back tomorrow or Thurs. The ES330 they gave me is so freakin fast, and the handling is like a ....like a boat, a slow **** boat!!!! OMG give me my F back pleeeeease! But at least it's in the shop.

Isn’t the ES330 from 2006? Why would they have such an old loaner car?

My mistake. It's actually an ES350, not a ES330.

Mines in now , got a RX 350 and with the snow the D.C. M.D. area is getting today , i'm truly thankful, my service writer is the best made my appointment , ordered the pump , great service

I got a notice saying the parts were in in the mail today but in fairness to my local dealer..he personally texted me weeks ago to tell me about it

Called my dealer, was told that Lexus has them ordering the parts as customers call...takes about a week to show, supposedly 2-3 hours work.

Called my service advisor today. She said she had to order part from Cali so I’ll go next week to have Pumps swapped.
Wonder if they gonna give me crap about the RR racing intake and the oil catcher since it changes the crank case ventilation hoses...
Also wonder if they have to do anything to ecu since I have RR tune.
Guess I’ll find out soon

I am also curious about the RR Tune too. I am actually holding off on the recall till I know for sure that they will not mess with the tune.

I agree with my situation on bad customer service. Earlier this week I went in for an oil change and spoke with the service rep. I told him about the recall and they are placing the order for the part and will handle the issue.

I can't hear it with my Armytrix exhaust. Can anybody else hear it? I started having issues with 3rd gear now though, I'll start a new thread on this though.

I believe this is the sound we all were talking about before the recall, that it sounds like a blow dryer and that indicated the failure was coming. We all were thinking it was the gas we used, or made that hypothesis. Am I right?

I get my RCF back today from the dealership due to the recall. I will certainly look out for this noise and let you know if I hear anything odd.

Hello all, happy easter.

Got my car back from dealer Friday after fuel pump swaps.
No strange psss noises.
Not missing third gear (other thread).
No cel (so far) so I assume my RR tune did not get flashed.
Car drives totally the same as before.
