Default Carbon fibre panel protection

I am looking at a carbon fibre rcf early next year. In the UK this is a carbon fibre roof, bonnet and spoiler. Appreciate I need to use uv protective products, the car will be garages and only used on weekends. If it chips is it easy to fix or should I just have ppf put on it?

I don't use any particular protection on the carbon fiber other than washing and waxing them frequently. My car is parked in a heated, underground garage so I am not too worried. I might look into putting 3M tape on the carbon fibre roof later. I already have the 3M tape on the hood, A-pillars, side mirrors and near the door handles. Highly recommend it.

The roads in the UK are awful so I have resided myself to ppf I think. Don’t want an expensive repair on my hands.

The 3M tape protects from rock chips, small size hail damage, weather damage and small dings. It has been quite effective in my case. You might want to look into it.

If the roads there are awful, it's worth investing in PPF especially on the carbon parts. It will make cleaning easier and protect the car. I bought the original OEM carbon spoiler for my non-TVD (carbon) RC F and had PPF installed on it in addition to 85% of my car. The spoiler alone is about $3K. I read somewhere on this forum that the cost of carbon roof is approximately $13K.

Thanks for the reply’s. Figured it would be expensive so yes ppf looks like the way to go.

I had my carbon roof/spoiler and Novel carbon aero all clear bra'd along with my full front bumper, headlights, full hood, full fenders, mirrors.
