PPE Unequal Length Headers
Has anyone installed the unequal length headers on their car? I’m interested and wanted to get some thoughts from folks that have them. Thanks.

I've had both on my ISF. Measured power output on a dyno was about the same. But, the measurements were done over 3 years apart with different wheels. The big difference is sound. UL length headers have more of a V8 lumpy sound. The EL are a bit higher in pitch and smoother in sound. There is also more drone with the UL headers. I also have the PPE Dual Mode exhaust and with the UL headers I was unable to make and receive bluetooth phone calls with the valves in the open position. With the EL headers I now can. The valves on my exhaust now stay open 99% of the time. With the UL headers I left the valves open maybe 60% of the time.

UEL is the most popular. I had them on my ISF along withe everyone else in the world lol! Equal length is less popular due to the price but it sounds amazing.

Was the figment issue a one off, or a possible case by case basis? Which exhaust do you have?
I am not a fan of higher pitched v10 sound, so will probably end up going unequel, how is the drone at highway speeds?

How does it sound on the interior? Is there a drone and can you talk on the phone?

Like Flowrider I've had both the unequal length and long tube equal length ppe headers on my Isf.
The unequal length made an annoying resonance in the interior of the car when cruising at 1600-1900 rpm. I told myself it wasn't too bad, but when even my realtor insisted on driving her vehicle (whilst not yet fully recovered from hip replacement surgery), i realized it was time to face reality. The equal length header design eliminates all the dissonance. Don't waste your time with the unequal length headers.
