Default Funny incident today

Today, on a very nice warm and sunny day, I decided to take my RCF out to run some errands. While standing at a crossing, I saw about 8 girls and boys looked around grade 7 or grade 8 children passing in front of me.

As soon as they got in front of me as I was waiting, they all started doing hilarious antics together. Some clutching their chest and screaming like they were having a heart attack while others just pointing at my car and giving me thumbs up. Some kids were yelling some stuff, which I could not figure out. I smiled at them and gave them a wave and thumbs up. Even when I was pulling away as soon as they finished crossing, I saw in the rear view mirrior they were looking at my car while doing funny antics.

I have never experienced anything like this so it was truly something special and this car is truly incredible.

Took a few pictures in the bright sun

Great pics - love the molten colour-- went with the LP to try to blend in with the CHP.
Surprised no cold weather package on yours?

Thanks. I was worried about being too conspicuous before I drove it home, but I absolutely love it now Just have to be careful

Regarding cold weather, I believe it does have it. Heated steering, heated seats, heated mirrors, wiper de-icer etc. I just don't drive it unless it is very nice out.

Trust me (us) Rolla - NO ONE can ever say they didn't see your car coming!!

Are you sure you have the "Cold Weather / Winter" Package in yours?
This is one option I truly wish I had, but could not seem to locate on any RCF whatsoever!
Pretty sure they ALL have Heated/Cooled Seats, but the Heated Steering Wheel option is epic!
Look down on the left side of your button array. There should be one there that immediately turns on the Heated Steering Wheel - post up a pic of this lit up if you can?

Thanks. True, it does stick out like a sore thumb LOL

If heated steering and wiper de-icer are part of the weather package then I have it. I will take a picture of it tonight.

I had a picture of the dash with the steering wheel heater button visible. It is button placed on right of the driver's side heated and cooled seats button cluster (left hand side of the ML stereo red light). The heating elements are at 10 o clock and 2 o clock on the steering wheel.

Hmmm. Since I've never seen the $280 "All Weather Package" in person, Im taking your word for it as to where the button is for this. On the RX350 its on the LEFT of the steering wheel down toward the bottom where the Trunk Opener would be for us RCF Owners. Either way, I'm envious!

I'm 99% sure we've all played with the "Build Your Lexus" feature on their website-right?
Just created the exact same RCF as I have now, and see its quite a bit heavier in Retail than 2017. Looking forward to hearing feedback from those who had previous models, and how much difference the new larger screen truly makes! Keep rocking that gorgeous bright ride Rolla!!
