This video was the 3rd run with this M4 on the roll and I was always at least 1 or 2 car lengths ahead each time! I hit 143MPH too!!! The 335i was SUPER quick off the line and it was a lot faster than I thought! ENJOY!!! 335i with upraded turbos and a M4 bite the dust!!!

His mods are in his signature, nothing performance based.
I'm almost 99% sure the M4 just had a terrible driver.
As much as I'd love to say RC-F's beat M4's we all know that's not the case on an equal playing field.

Yeah i was almost sure i was going to lose but I had hope because we were on a roll instead of a full stop. I did beat him every single time we raced from a roll though! He had a passenger and so did I as well.

6MT or M-DCT? What speed did you start from?

What was your strategy? Manual mode, Sport+, hold ready in 2nd gear (around 40 mph or so) and then punch it on go?

Just trying to understand the full picture.

We were rolling at 80mph i think. I was in 4th gear and i just slammed the pedal and shifted at redline. Pretty simple, nothing hard about it. He was never ahead in any of the runs though. Im positive he would have beat me if we were at a full stop...but we weren't, and I won...three times hahah

A win is a win. It is cool you won and there is no argument there. I love my RCF. However, there are many questions about this video such as, as to whether he was driving a 6MT or M-DCT. It could be possible he was driving a 6MT and was not in the right gear.

What really makes me confused about the video is, you were technically in too tall a gear. 4th is too tall for 80 mph. You can hear in the video that the car is starting in the mid-range somewhere. You had to be in 3rd gear to have the fastest possible start at 80 mph, yet the M4 still got walked easily. Something is off about the driver of the M4 or the M4 itself.

If you want to have a good, clean run, ask him to re-run you at 40 mph. You should hold 2nd at 40 mph while coasting. You should ask him to go into the lowest gear since his car is geared difference and then punch it on the word go. It would a clear idea as to how the cars stack up,

I don't know the guy...i just saw him on the freeway. Also, i'm almost positive i was in 4th cause in the video i think i shifted once or twice. No way I was in third though. We ran three times and I gave him adequate time to get ready. I'm guessing he just sucks ***** at driving or my car has more power than I know of LOL! Our cars are better against turbo cars on the roll, so I guess that was my advantage! I got torched by a new STI with a stage 2 COBB tune on flex fuel off the line, but on the roll I was able to get ahead by a few car lengths. If you're racing at a stop, i would suggest using automatic and not manual or paddle shifting! Using manual seems to lag and I don't get the same positive results as automatic. *shrugs* who knows.

Hahha I didn't even know the 335i wanted to race me at that light. Thats why i was caught off guard, plus I have trouble with traction cause i have ****ty tires on LOL....At the next light i was able to take him though!
