Default Dropped off RCF for recall work and service

Just dropped off my RCF this morning to get recall work and 10k miles service done. Did a walk-through with the service advisor to ensure the condition of my car is on record.

Will update in the evening when I pick it up on my way back from office.

Waiting for the dealership to open:

*Zzzz* sad to say I dropped mine off last Thursday and I've been driving their loaner NX300 a while now. There's a delay in shipping so here's another weekend of itching to drive.

My dealer (Marin) was great with the TSIB for the ecu reflash and have been lenient about me just holding on to this car so I can't complain but man I wouldn't mind wasting some gas right now to hear that borla.

That last shot is NICE! The stock wheels look good at that angle.

Thanks man. The 20 spoke wheels are pretty amazing in real life when polished and cleaned. Also, love the very muscular stance as if it is on steroids LOL Any excuse to take pictures of my RCF with my 4K HDR XZ Premium.

That sucks. I called ahead about a week ago and they ordered the part when I bring the car in. Hopefully, you are driving your RCF back again.

Got my RCF back after the recall and 10k mile service. Feels and drives like stock. No difference. They did a very nice detail on the car. The pearls in the Molten Pearl really jump out. My tire wear is 6/32 front and 5/32 rear. Looks like I have got another 5000 miles or so before I need to replace them.

Dealership wrote they readjusted the tire pressure to factory recommendation, but hated the "balloon like" feel of the tires. Came home and measured them cold in the garage. Sure enough, they were at 39 psi. Brought them down to 35.5 psi front and 37 psi rear.

Getting Octane 94 on the way back from dealership. Picture of RCF with full interior/exterior detailing done by Lexus dealership. No swirl marks anywhere.

Reviving my 2 year old thread. Dropping the car off tomorrow to the dealership for service and maintenance, oil change etc. Unless they find something I am not aware of, should cost around $400 + tax. Will update tomorrow.

Nice. I do a lot of my own minor services, but I just made an appointment to drop mine off for the 30k service (I'm at 28,500) next week. In looking at the list of what they do, there's nothing that I can't do myself, but I want to go ahead and have the service department do it this time and record the service into my VIN report. It's only been about 1500 miles since my last oil change approximately 5 months ago so that's probably a bit wasteful to do again, but I figured while they're in there might as well get it done too.

Yeah, good idea to have the dealership tech look at it. They will check all of the nuts and bolts re torquing something, if needed. I requested the F specialist there to work on my car. I mentioned the overfilling issue many people experience so hopefully, I will not discover any overfilling. I am at 17,920 KM, which is 11,200 miles. I take it once a year because the car never gets driven between Novemeber and March.

Having said that, look what I saw in the dealership while waiting for my shuttle. It is a pristine condition ISF. Stock except an aftermarket exhaust and looks gorgeous, clean, well taken care of. Perfect paint. 62, 672 KM. In case, someone is looking for this or a white 2016 GSF with 44,987 KM (can be seen behind the ISF in the picture), they have both of these available in the dealership.

Picked up the car. It is always great since it receives so much attention at the dealership LOL Quite an uneventful service and maintenance appointment. They did the 155 point inspection, tightened stuff on the car and said there was nothing they found to be concerning. I though the battery might be weak since it is 5 years old and only runs 8 months a year and only occasionally. I had asked them to let me know, if I should do alignment. I would have gone ahead, if they recommended. They said it does not need alignment. Anyway, no news is great news so I am a happy camper. Total cost $427.

Man what awful filter do you keep using on these photos of the RCF ??? The first two pics in this thread from 2018 and the ISF photos look normal but the others posted as of late with the RCF look terrible with the filter that distorts the colors.

I thought it made the light wash out less of the details, but my opinion I guess. This is the original

Most of them only get driven in the spring/summer, which is why they are in such great condition. For American folks, this is a great car to import especially conversion rate factored in (MSRP $35K CAD). Looks flawless and well taken care of. Only 62K KMs.

Reviving my old thread as I am taking the car in tomorrow morning to have a big scheduled service and maintenance done. I still am far below the mileage (mine is at 20,000 KM right now and I believe the scheduled maintenance is for 32.000 KM). Will update more tomorrow. Funny since 2018, I have put on only just over 2000 KM on my RCF LOL
