I am buying this car. It will be delivered to me on the 23rd. Looking at the picture,I get the idea it has aftermarket springs. The wheel gaps look lower than stock. Any opinions? What color are stock springs? What color are swift springs?
With the windows tinted and the vinyl wrap, I get the idea the previous owner liked to mod. No problem with it, just want to know what I am getting.
The angle is skewed so difficult to tell. It can look like it is on springs, but on directly from the sides, one can tell. You can see in my RCF's picture and compare (I am stock)
Congrats! The color combo is beautiful. I went to their main page to look at additional pictures. It's still difficult to tell if he changed the springs. It looks to be aftermarket. Hopefully, he did saving you money. The original OEM springs are glossy black. I have the Swift Springs and love them. Here is the average cost he spent on modifications to the RCF from what I can see.
I would avoid getting a car with springs since some of them are cr*ppy quality. The RSRs have poor spring rates that do not match the valving of the dampers well. They can blow the shocks prematurely.

You couldn't ask the people you're buying the car from or if not them then ask who the previous owner was? I'd be a lil' leary if the people i'm buying a vehicle from couldn't answer my questions about the car i'm wanting to buy!
The car was a lease return that was sent to auction. I don't think the current dealer will know history or original owner. One of the nice features of the dealer I am buying from, I get 7 days no questions asked return. I will have time to go through the car on my own and make a good decision. I'm not that concerned about springs. At worst, I pick up a set of stock spring from somebody that lowered their car and swap mine back to stock. At best, it has a quality set of coils on it that improve performance and looks. I am familiar with Swift and would be happy to find them on the car. I put them on my last set of coils and have used their lowering springs too.
