Default Wheel Corrosion?

Like in a previous post I made, I found an clean 17K mile RCF for 45K. Now I find myself at carmax every other day trying to find things wrong... what do you guys think of this peeling on the wheels

I'm not an expert on the wheel options, but my 2017 wheels are only light on the face, the sides are dark, similar to what you see coming through the paint.

It will be covered under warranty by Lexus. I had my OEM rims retouched, because the clear coat looked like it was cracking. The OEM rims are forged.

I’ve had those before , and the oem color was brighter , those appeared to be painted . I might be wrong though

Yep. Those are repainted. I have those wheels and they are dark gray like the scratched out part the face is shiny polish Are all of them same color?

I think I have those same wheels and they're sitting in boxes stacked up!
Maybe you can strip em down, powder coat, polish or paint them and THEN coat em real good with a Ceramic Coating too!
Or....You can buy mine with only 160 miles on them too?

Those wheels are completely repainted.......not the OEM color at all.....
