AEM/K&N Intake

AEM/K&N Intake UPDATE!
Carbon fiber cover/lid installed. Like the "AEM" impression.
New product from AEM/K&N. Final product will have a lid to enclose filter element (possibly carbon fiber lid)
. Dyno results look good. Peak gain of 18whp at 5900 rpm.

No way
I just put a full Armytrix Valvetronic Exhaust system on my RCF and there is no way that intake ALONE makes 18 more horses at the rear wheel.
Not calling YOU a liar by any means, just dont believe an intake Alone will bring that much Hp to the rear wheel in a Dyno.

Since this is the final production product, I can share the dyno. The base run shown "stock" is actually with Borla exhaust (blue curve). Red curve is intake with Borla. So you can see that gains achieved are above the Borla only run! Looking to see if we can get the complete stock run from 2 months ago before the Borla was installed.

I would keep an eye out on AEM website for availability and pricing. Not sure how soon it will become available. Might be awhile for California purchase since it needs CARB approval. I don't think any other color options will be offered.

^^^^I know of no intake or exhaust modification for any Lexus "F" vehicle with CARB approval. The approval process is so expensive, that for a low production vehicle, it's simply not worth it. With that said, the intake on my Silverado does indeed have a CARB approval sticker, can you guess why?
