As you guys know, I've been searching for an RCF. I've found a few local, but these damn dealers are intent to let these used, overpriced RCFs sit on thier lots losing money? We have 2 that are priced way over KBB.......I don't get it, when CA dealers are ready to make a sale. Looks like I'm driving to CA to look at a few....

I agree, I've been watching RCFs in AZ for well over a year now and most are overpriced and dealers aren't dealing. Most sit for a while. They all eventually disappear from the dealers so I assume they eventually get their ask or close enough to it.
When I made an offer to one dealer, they said they wouldn't budge a penny because it was the only used RCF for sale in AZ at the time. No thanks.
Most of SoCal is a 1 hr flight or 5-6 hr drive from Phoenix, easy trip.
Good luck!

There is a 2016 RC F fsbo in Gilbert asking $48,500, not too bad a price for a 2017, imho. Buying from a non-dealer in AZ, you pay no sales tax, saving amount $4000. If you are interested, check out the service history. Either the car has has lots of problems, or the owner was obsessive compulsive.

If they own the car out right they are not losing money sitting on it. They are willing to wait for an emotional buyer who will pay the price. Some one will come along and buy it and if it takes a few months no big deal.

It is a supply thing. If your region does not have many RCFs, the dealers/sellers will want to inflate it because of its rarity. It is the same in my area as well. Not many RCFs and even fewer carbon/TVD RCFs. When I was looking for one, M4/M3 with good options on them were available for a few grand less simply because there are more of those available used for sale.
