Default Finally an F owner

The time has finally come and after what feels like has been forever, I'll be picking up my RCF on Wed. The car is a 2015 molten pearl, and has 14k miles on it. It's in San Antonio Texas and I'll be flying out early Wed. morning to the dealership and driving it back home to Maryland. The dealer will be installing xpel clearbra on the front bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors. Cant say enough about how excited I am, went with the F over an F82 M4 and GTR. I'll be making the 1800 or so mile drive by myself, the wife can't make it since she's tying up ends at her current job in preparation for a new job she starts in about a week and a half. So it'll just be me and the car.

According to the carfax the maintenance/service on the car looks good, dealer will be servicing it before I drive home. I've never had a drive like this before, anything i should expect or keep an eye on? I know theres a recall for the fuel pump and this hasn't been taken care of yet, it's on my list of first things to do once i get the car home, is the fuel pump issue something i should be worried about on the drive back home? I also plan on ordering a pair of swift springs sometime this weekend, well thread wouldn't be much without pics, here she is!

Link (won't work too long, car will be delisted)

To answer the fuel pump issue. The reason for the recall is a potential leak leading to fire. Haven't heard of any members having issue. I haven't had the issue and not concerned about it. I drive it daily. Should not affect your drive home.

Congratulations! Welcome!

Congrats, nice color choice! Any particular reason why you picked the F over the M4 or GTR?

LXSDO Ok perfect, thats good to know. Thanks guys I really appreciate the welcome. Vietzboi87 sure, the tech in the F is just so nice, it instantly won me over. Along with the seats. The M is fast but it just didn't offer me too many features outside of the M badging and the track capability, not too much new tech for an expensive car, regardless its still a really nice car. The GTR is a beast plain and simple and the engineering behind it is really impressive, but it just didn't have enough additional features for me and I wasn't too big on the interior.

The F just offers so much for its price point, standard blindspot monitoring, digital gauge cluster (functional eye candy), retractable spoiler, very nice ventilated seats, Alcantara, V8 NA motor that sounds really good and reliability. You have to practically combine multiple cars to get all of the features the F gives you.The M and the GTR are still amazing cars, it's surprising because up until earlier this year I was set on getting an M4.

Nice, where did you pick it up from if you don't mind me asking? and how long did it take you to learn everything in the car?

Nice. Lexus made it really hard to choose a color. It was between molten pearl, ultra sonic blue mica, and infared. Really tough decision since this car looks really good in every color it comes in.

Congrats! It is very rewarding to own. I have had many other brands of luxury/fast cars, but I always looked back at my IS-F, hence my reasoning for getting my RC-F! They are fantastic cars. You will enjoy it immensely!
