My Porsche (and a few other auto makers) has Matte/Flat paint jobs and their only stipulations were that if they found out you went through an automated car wash or in any way washed the car in a non-approved manor then they will void the paint warranty; they gave me a wash kit, couple cloths for spot wipes (between washes or when people touch the paint and leave oil marks) or take it to them and they'll wash it for free at any dealership.
I'm sure the guy who works at Toyota knows the particulars but i'd bet the circumstance would be similar if not the same.
As stated above, the allocations for these are 1 per US Dealership and at the same time I was buying my 2017 the Dealer offered me their allocated Anniversary one. I put down a G deposit back then but have since changed my mind - not for Paint reasons though. They never actually said anything about this "Wash with Water Only" thing though?? Since I've started dumping more n more money into my car, and getting it for such an incredibly low offer - I just couldn't see myself going Full Retail on it, regardless of its status. I've since retracted my deposit and desire despite the cool looking interior. I actually wish I had that Blue inside the USB Model I have now! Anxious to see what becomes of it down the road......
Saw one at the local Lexus dealer. Not liking the blue interior. Also didn't see anyone mention it, but there is the F logo being projected from the doors.

Wow. Where can I order one!!! I have been working with some eBay vendors to try to get something similar. Once it's out I was gonna tell everyone.

I wonder if lexus sells them standalone.

Here's a few pics of mine. Looks very very good and quality in person, unlike a lot of the cheap eBay ones. Believe I gave up $75-$85 for the pair. Sorry, forgot to get the part number. I have it saved in my papers so just have to remember to look for it tomorrow.
