Question Anyone Seen A Shift **** Like This?

Like many of you, I've played around with "Build Your Car" and other different car searches. Though I'm a proud RCF Owner, the LC500 is definitely something Im drawn to. Even drove one which was stunning! Check out this Used LC500 in Killeen, TX.

In all my years w Lexus, Ive never a Gear Shift **** like this! Not sure its something I'd want, but sure looks "different" doesnt it? Anyone seen one in person?

*Still like to get my hands on the BPA one, but thats not happening!

Looks like someone removed the shift **** as the stem appears to be threaded

Thought the same thing to myself but truly couldn't make out threads. Must be the case.

Of course this is a joke!
Many car dealers have to remove the shift levers because they get stolen! You guys have to get out more in the real world, because this is a common issue, and not only with Lexus cars, but with all cars that have shift levers that just screw off.

That shift **** does look appealing, but anyone know how much this appeal would cost me?

^^^^^Exactly the issue. Dealers have to pull shift ***** from cars and store them until they sell. They are a highly common stolen item along with floor mats. Easy to sell on the internet for a quick buck$$!

Cool Still Looks Cool Though....

This is all very interesting news to me!
Guess I live in an area where this is not a common occurrence?

Were'nt you one of the lucky few to score that Carbon BPA Shift **** Kramer? Or am I thinking of another Member?
They don't even list this on their site anymore.

**I know there are a ton of threads here on Shift *****, but anyone with an aftermarket one is welcome to share it here. Seen many of them on FleaBay, even with Alcantara material Shift Boots too! How hard is it to replace the Shifter Boot itself?

Gunny my man you should message Josh at DCTMS! They just made a full cf shift **** - check the vender products for DCTMS on the last page.

I also wanted to purchase the boot from eBay with the red stitching as I feel the blue stitching doesn't match with my red interior! I'll be waiting until I get a steering wheel from Josh and then get the boot and shift **** to match!

Default Many Thanks!!

Hey thanks alot man!
I think I may have communicated w him when I first got the car, but will again. Would hope the Boot Replacement is not too difficult. Seen many YouTubes on Steering Wheel & Shift ****, but not the Boot itself? Elvin Wong just replied to my email today too, who is actually working w me on something a little different. ..

......and what is "really?"

Shift boot swap is easy. I swapped mine out for red stitching and red stitched shifter. I used the Is350 red shift boot, it fits perfectly
