I believe elvin has two shades of red, I have the dark rose and IMO it’s barely noticeable. It’s almost dead on with stock red. I was in the same boat as you but I’m 100% happy with the choice I made. If I did black with red stitching I’d probably wouldn’t be happy today lol!
