Default problem about the gear, anyone know whats wrong ?

hi, recently, when i shift to park then this happen, i bring it to lexus, they said its normal. i am just kind of worry, this happen start at a months ago, anyone knows have this happen to their car?

Yeah. A little unnerving, but mine does that or something very similar, too. So guess it is normal.

My 2006 IS350 and RC-F both did it. It mostly happened when I was not parked on a level surface. I believe using the parking brake will prevent this from happening.

Totally normal. The car is shifting slightly.

If it bothers you, set your parking brake before taking your foot off the brake pedal.

This is normal. this happens because there is a cable that connects the shiftier tot the transmission. As many said above, if the car is parked on an incline, its engaging the parking pawl as the car moves slightly forward or backward. Our CR-V and Highlander and Camry all do the same thing.
