Default Car Buzz?

Not talking Sativa vs Indica here. Haven't seen this.

Has anyone (Rolla) posted this article yet? If so, disregard, and return to your scheduled program. Back to my Buzz......

**Let me guess, it was already in that 20 page Doug Demuro Thread right?

Good article, sums up basically what all the F owners have been defending about this car. Guess the difference is if you bought Vs lease and how that frames your opinion about the car

Thanks for posting! Good summary showing why many of us purchased used ones!

Great find. Rare to see a review focused on all of the phenomenal things this car has to offer rather than beating on the same dead horse "weight" as the focal point. Yeah, I never saw this article until you found it. I think it sums it up very well.

I will be one of those on this board talking about the RCF many years from now.

I do wish people would understand the difference between speculating a purchase and actually owning. I've always wanted an M4, but at no point has it made sense enough to commit owning one for 6-7 years like I am trying with Lexus.

Now that pre-owned M4s are more than affordable compared to $65k, I'm still not confident in pulling the plug. It's also great to see almost no 2015s available for purchase in my area, and 2016s are holding high on starting price and there is no incentives for dealers to undercut anyone by 5-6k which is where everyone thought the price of these cars would be a year ago.

Rarity of the vehicle is showing signs of helping this car's value and since it IS known to be reliable, it is less likely to be sold before warranties are up and less competition to cheap sell. Again, these things have to be considered, there are not a lot of scenarios that would play out the same as Lexus ownership buying in at 45k.

In that article it specifically stated:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
"Pricing
A brand-new 2019 RC F starts off at $64,650, which is about $5,000 less than a new M4. Despite having a lower starting price, 2015 RC F models have held their value slightly better than M4 models of the same year. The cheapest RC F examples we found were listed for around $41,000, while the cheapest M4 examples were around $35,000. Even a base RC F comes better equipped than a base M4, as BMW charged extra for options like leather seats and a backup camera. The M4 also lacks some features found in the RC F, such as ventilated seats."

Mark this date on my calendar!!
I actually came out with an article (Positive too) on the RCF before my man Rolla did! How unreal is that?
Ditto brother. I think mine will be sitting pristine in my garage many years from now too!
Like I said in another Thread - Lexus sent me a reminder for my 5k Service and Im only at 2200miles. Do those first 2 Free Services go away in "Time" too?
You know what I mean right? If I don't have BOTH of them done within X years of ownership, are they lost on me?

I think if you wait till you hit 5k, you will still have the free service. I don't think it will go away.

Sorry, Gunny, for the RCF Lexus only pays for the 1K/30 days (really minor inspection, no one does it) and the 5K/6 mos service.

In theory its 5K or 6 mos, whichever comes first, but I'm guessing your dealer will give you the 5K whenever you bring it it...might want to call them to confirm it and get a name.

Thanks man. Luckily, I DO happen to have a great Service Writer who doesn't get tweaked out over minutia.

As much as I want the F brand to move forward with new exciting products, I would be at peace with Lexus if they killed off IS and GS or heck, even RC because the world wants to move on to big trucks and SUVs. It will make my RCF that much more special to me.
