Default JoeZ PTS Catback Exhaust Dyno +29 whp and +35 wtq

Found this video with some very impressive gains with this exhaust. Wish the mufflers were designed a bit more "conventionally".

It seems to me that some manufactors of these muffler canisters just stick any other universal muffler can without taking into consideration for the "look" from the rear bumper. This particular isn't bad but the new RR Baffle design is the worst in my opion. I guess if you just want performance and don't care for aesthetics then you might be ok with it.

Yeah, gains wise JoeZ is pretty considered the best for RCF/GSF. Aesthetics wise, I would say Invidia has the best look especially with the burnt blue tips.

Invidia all the way! Welds are solid, piping diameter is perfect, bolts up to factory location with no issues, sounds good, makes the *** look better with burnt tips. Price justified.

The same is true with the Apexi cat back exhaust.

that's your preference 2S, we get that... but frankly some don't prefer the bulky look of double offset stacked N1 canisters on each side of the car back there.

I guess you gotta zoom in really close on the graph/monitor.

Here is the dyno graph. They did it in 6th gear so the speed limiter kicked in at 6500 rpm before it could get to the rev limiter.

I went with the Apexi as the Invidia muffler was too big to work with the Lexon rear diffuser.

It is the angle of the picture. The apexi mufflers hang pretty low.

i've had the joe-z system on my rc-f for over 2 years now. no regrets at all. the offset tips weren't the issue for me, it was the obnoxious shine that all aftermarket systems have. IMO they should all come blacked out.

Do you get any drone? I heard there is a lot of drone around 2000 rpm?

Yeah, they look good when powder coated. Looks closer to the OEM mufflers. Should be like that out the door.

This. I've had the JoeZ exhaust for a couple of years and it's been great. I used some oven black on the back side of the mufflers to make 'em "disappear" under the car. I get a bit of drone, but nothing major. I will say that I question the gains of 29whp and 35wtq with this exhaust, though...
