Default Carbon rear bumper diffuser by JPM

I finally received my carbon fiber rear bumper diffuser from JPM carbon on Ebay after waiting about a month! It comes fully glossed with a grill piece already included but poorly attached. The grilled is attached via bread wire tie (LOL), and is metal as opposed to the oem plastic grill. The carbon itself is about a 8-9/10 quality. You can see minor imperfections around the hard corners and edges but it is not noticeable unless you are holding a magnifying glass. The part is actually listed for about $650-$700 but I was able to haggle my way down to $500 before the price increase. I was able to get it that low since I did local pick up, so i'm not sure how much room there is to haggle without but I didn't wanna risk damaging the diffuser with delivery. They DO NOT secure the parts well at all. There is just one layer of foam and one layer of bubble wrap. I'm glad i did local pick up because the way they ship, doesn't look secure. There are no clips on the bottom so this part is obviously not OEM, and it's going to be mounted with 3M tape. It shouldn't be an issue since it'll be held in securely through the rear bumper panel and won't go anywhere. I was only able to snap a few pictures before I wrapped it back up. I should have it installed by tomorrow so stay tuned!

Very nice, had an appointment to have the oem piece wrapped in carbon fiber, holding off to see how fitment is on this piece. Subscribed!

Couldn’t wait to get home! Fitment was a little off and not flush at first but my installer was able shave it down a little and get it almost perfect! Here are some photos! Will post some more later!

Thanks! I’m going for a clean look. The other diffuser are too flashy for me, if that makes any sense at all.

Tommy at Music Box in El Monte CA. He's a Lexus specialist of 10+ years and owns an ISF himself. The installation requires the rear bumper to be removed. Like i said though, the fitment IS NOT 100% and make sure whoever is installing it has the tools to shave plastic and make **** happen. I was close to letting it be the way it was, which was about 1/4 to 1/2 inch pushed out and not flush. I told him to give it another try and he was able to macgyver the diffuser on and now it sits flush. It comes with 3M tape but you don't need it, honestly i have no idea why they even put it in the box LOL! Feel free to ask anymore questions!

I stand corrected! The clear or gel coat they used sort of collected in the corners where the reflectors go. It's not a big deal cause I can probably wet sand it but it is a small imperfection. Just a heads up.
