Edit: 8 Speed not 10 speed
What I run into all the time in the RCF, pulling hard and then abruptly 3rd gear rev limiter.
As the driver says, a close one

Hmm there is no 2018 Camaro with a 10 speed auto? The 2016 -2018 have the 8 speed. The new 2019 has a 10 speed, but that doesn't come out till the end of the year. Actually a lot closer than I thought it would've been. Considering the SS has beat the m4 in almost every category

Yeah, seen that. It is the taller gearing suited for higher speeds. RCF seems to do better because it is lighter (and also probably the better aero).
Theres a video of a GS F vs. the current Camaro SS on YouTube. As expected the Camaro pulls out at lower speeds but the GS F pulls hard top end and passes. https://youtu.be/4xx9BG2e2YM

RCF (exhaust/headers)
vs
6th Gen SS (unknown mods or lightly modded)
50 mph roll
I pulled hard by 115 and by 145ish (top of 5) got him by about a little over a car.
In the GSF video, all the high rolls the GSF pulled. But when he did a 40 roll, he couldn't pull.
