I don't see this being the case due to the matte finish, the dealers are having a hard time moving the cars. There's currently 6 of them at dealers in the Houston area

Exactly. I would have loved to see, rear seat delete, lightweight battery, Titanium exhaust, Carbon Ceramic brakes. Hopefully saving a couple hundred pounds with a 50 HP increase. Would not have been that hard.

The matte grey and blue interior are going to scare a lot of people off. I know it’s the anniversary model and you want it to stand out but it’s a little much for most people. I personally would pass for a more normal color combo.

With all due respect, this is really far fetched. They will be a long time before this car will become a collector. Also, we aren't even sure that it will be legal to drive explosion engine cars in 20 years from now.

There are people who like corvettes that buy them for a million dollars. The smartest thing to do with these anniversary cars is to buy them and put them away for 50 years. Thats what I would do. Maybe you wouldn't see the benefits in your lifetime, but your children's if you pass this down. Some classic muscle cars from the 60s sell for hundreds of thousands cause they are barely driven. Cannot believe I had to water down my explanation this much. Just because something is illegal doesn't mean people won't do it. Long term investments people...

Think many of us bought used RCF's that were maybe not the exact car they would order new. But when a used one comes along that looks and smells brand new, for about 1/2 the cost of a new one, we could not resist from getting it!
I originally intended to buy a new RC f sport in the dealers lot, but when I saw a used RCF a few feet away, then discovered the differences, I went for that RCF for just a few dollars more! Yes, my RCF does not have a ML sound system like that RC f sport I looked at, but hearing that v8 sound makes me smile more than an upgraded radio would!

This is the most ridiculous thing I have seen on the internet today
It's an anniversary edition, something that manufactures have been doing for years. Doesn't make them anywhere near collector car status. Down the road, it's only going to fetch a few grand more than a regular RC-F. Here's a small list of the many cars that have "anniversary editions" for a particular year, all with much more history than the Lexus "F" series.
2003 Corvette - 50th anniversary
2010 370Z - 40th anniversary
2002 Trans Am - 35th anniversary
2017 Viper - 25th anniversary
2018 M3 - 30th anniversary
None of which are going to be selling for hundreds of thousands more than original MSRP
