Did you actually use silicone or did you use double sided tape? Im not too fond of using silicone.

I used black silicone per the instructions that came with the emblem, but I guess it’s fine to use double side tape as well

Yeah, soon as I read that I was thrown off. I went with the tape and its holding up great.

I totally agree!!! That F looks sick!! That stance is wicked! I'm starting to have ideas =)

I'm debating removing the chrome rc from the back and leaving the F.. Or finding gloss black rc letters and putting it on. I thought about plasti dipping the rc letters just to see if I like them black. Normally I debadge all of our cars but for some reason I can't do it fully to this one. Lol

I can't seem to find gloss black or even the black pearl rc letters anywhere.

Contact Austin Huber (emblemexpert@outlook.com) at Deep Blue Chrome. I had my rear badge and "RC" hydro dipped by them in carbon fiber. They look great. They can do other styles/colors as well.

I plasti dipped the RC letters yesterday. It looked OK, but wasn't great. So I peeled it off and removed the RC letters from the back of the trunk and left the F badge. I found a thread over on the ISF section and if you want the black pearl color this is exactly what you want to paint them.

Tamiya USA PS-31 Smoke Spray:
Amazon Amazon

Now I'm debating paying the $12 for the spray paint and spraying the RC letters and putting them back...lol. Trunk looks cleaner for sure with out the RC. I almost want to remove the F badge and reposition it slightly to the left of the trunk, since it would look better more centered on the right side.
