Are the RCF Doors Steel or Aluminum?

I would think they are steel. A lot of the weight is because of the metal reinforcement beams inside the doors for rigidity.

All panels are steel except hood is aluminum

^^^ Well that will make em heavier. Be the pioneer and get your doors molded, and I’ll buy the 2nd set of real carbon doors after yours!!

I don't know if it would be legal to replace such safety specific elements as the doors with aftermarket carbon models. I'm sure that Switzerland would ask for TUV crash test comformity.

Elvin does over lay which is carbon and resin on top of the oem part, therefore heavier. It’s only cosmetic. I’m talking about a real carbon door which would need a mold to be made, then the resin & carbon would be cured under pressure.

YEP I can defiantly say his steering wheels are a lot heavier than standard I just installed mine today and I couldn't believe how much difference there was. I wish I'd weighed them but I would say 1 1/2 to 2 lbs heaver. They are only a resin overlay with carbon weave, but very well made cheers.
