Is that $11,000 including both front and rear? That's expensive but hell, if it's all 4 and they are willing to make it...that's tempting for sure. You'd be the only one in the states with it that's for sure. Offset some of the cost by selling your interior. I always see on FB rc owners wanting genuine F seats...
For the 1/4 trim where is there even stitching? I'd have to look at mine. Are you talking that little armrest area on the sides that the passengers have? Have you looking into possibly finding an upholster that could take the stitching out and put orange stitching in?

I have attached another photo of 1/4 trim. As you can see it is in line with the front trim panels.
You either love orange or you hate it. It’s been my favorite color since I was a young boy. $11,000.00 does not include installation(I’m guessing at least $1,000.00) and tariff charges. I had to pay $65 for tariff charges on my door trim panels so I’m guessing another $400 + for tariff charges. These are not the complete seats, they are just the leather seats covers to replace original equipment seat covers. I already have more money into my orange RCF than total costs in my 2018 LC500(as of today only 1,962 miles on the odometer) so what’s another $12-13k since I don’t plan to sell it. I’ve already have almost $10k into the Special Edition orange interior already installed. My RCF will be 7 years old next month(actually built in December 2014) but purchased it in January 2015 the day it arrived at Lexus of Seattle. Currently 11,181 miles on the odometer. It’s been flawless except for the two fuel pump recalls(my LC500 had the same recall)
I plan to order these seat covers in the next month or so. I really love my RCF and the color is so special to me. I will post updates as they come. Next is the 1/4 trim panels(already ordered) stay tuned.
I just received my interior 1/4 trim today, Christmas Eve, from Japan Lexus. I know that some of you think I’m crazy to get these but it matches the door trim panels I added in May of this year. I will install them soon and show photos. LH interior 1/4 trim panel Special Edition Japanese RCF Closer photo to show you the orange stitching. Currently there is white stitching.
Awesome! Can't wait for you to eventually get the seats ( you know it's gonna happen...lol)!
I don't think you are crazy at all. You are paying for OEM pieces that match the car! Heck, there are a lot of things people dump money on and they are riced out mods or make the car imho look bad. These are awesome! Plus you know you are the only one in the USA that is doing it!

Nigel, Thank You for your compliments. Yes, you are correct, I will be ordering the interior in January if everything goes well. I have done a modification to my RCF before Christmas, the only one, I opened the hood extractor, vent, or whatever it is called. I did purchase a new hood baffle and clips from Lexus to put back to factory specifications if needed because I cut up the original one. I’ll keep everyone updated on my orange interior final phase. In less than a month, it will be seven years since I purchased my RCF new. Photo of hood scoop/vent modification done in December 2021
I just wanted to update everyone who is interested in my Japanese Orange RCF interior project. My wife of 47 years, gave me a Christmas card this last Christmas, that included photos of the RCF interior I have wanted since 2015 when I got a Japanese RCF brochure that showed pictures of the Japanese Special Edition RCF. My Christmas card I received from my wife. The 1/4 trim panels that will be installed at the same time.
What a present! I’m guessing around March this year 2022, hopefully earlier, they will get installed along with my 1/4 trim panels that arrived on Christmas Eve. I hope that you all had a very Merry RCF Christmas.

I have the rest of the Lexus Special Edition orange and black interior coming from Japan and I should receive it by March 1, 2022. Installation right afterwards. Wife gave the okay at this last Christmas 2021. I’m the only one in the USA doing it because I’m the only one crazy enough to do it!

*****ORANGE INTERIOR UPDATE ****
As of January 14, 2022, all of the interior parts have been ordered. Shipping date approximately February 24 and expected delivery date by March 1, 2022. I will keep you updated with photos during the installation and of course, the finished installation photos.
Couldn’t tell from the pics, are you doing the orange binnacle as well?
Not sure what a binnacle is(I was in the automotive business for 40 years) but I’m guessing that it is this(see photo). The answer is yes. Photo is a RH drive. I am having a special order one made for LH drive.
