Genuine Orange Lexus RCF Japanese Parts

I picked up my RCF today. It’s still not done, missing front seat back bezels. Taking the cluster bezel pads to upholstery shop next week. Still working on the front seat bottoms. Was looking at the 2019 10th Anniversary F RCF’s interior and if you can see, only the front seats got the special black and blue seat covers and the back seats were just black.
You should be super proud!

Transformation Of Interior
Although my interior it is not completely finished, here’s photos of the transformation of it. Taking the dash trim to upholstery shop tomorrow and discuss the front seat bottoms.
Complete Stock
First was the steering wheel, console trim, shift ****, and shift boot.
The front door trim panels were next.
Here it is at 95% finished. Front seat backs, rear seat back and seat cushions, rear 1/4 interior trim panels. Notice that the front seat trim bezels are missing in this photo. New ones had to be ordered because they are a one time use. They will be installed this Wednesday .

It's really crazy how boring the black interior looked against the molten orange body... it's a shame Lexus found this to be acceptable... (i know, i know, not everyone wants color and likes all black, but it's too boring looking).
Even just the steering wheel and door panels it's amazing how much more it pops. The seats complete the look. Can't wait to get an update on the cowl and the lower seat bottoms.
It looks so much nicer inside the car with the orange!

I like the rear seat accents with the color change. Lexus should have done that too with the other than black interior colors. My interior is blue (2019 10th anniversary ed.). Lexus did nothing in accents for the back seat area.

I made a decision yesterday at the upholstery shop concerning the pad on the cluster bezel. I chose to go with the same type of material that the original one is except for the color and stitch color. I hope you won’t be disappointed. Also I am not going to get the bottom seat cushions done until this fall because I want to drive it during the dry season. Here in Seattle, we have two seasons, wet and dry.
Did your upholsterer say they could do the seat bottoms though? I can't someone in the field not being able to do it. I know when I got things done before it makes it a lot easier (not cheaper for us) on them if they have a complete piece and when they take it apart they can make a pattern and or use that material onto the new one of what they are making.
Keep us updated for sure!

Instrument Cluster Bezel Finished
I just got back my custom instrument bezel pad today. Original one from Japan is not leather but vinyl. I chose to have it in orange suede instead of leather or vinyl. Turned out great in my opinion. What do you think? I will install it soon and keep you updated.

WAAYYY nicer IMHO!
I think suede is a perfect choice! That's really disappointing that the OEM lexus from Japan was vinyl.... Why would that not be leather?!
If you don't mind, what did your upholster charge do to the cowl? And does he/she do other items? Back in the subie world there was a guy named Alex from CPM Coachworks. He did custom upholstery and it was awesome, he could do anything. He did my custom s203 shifter bezel boot for alcantara. I've since wanted to find someone that would do the entire top portion in that or leather...

If I were you, I'd look on eBay or buy just the console lid. Then have your current one re-done in the suede. That way if you don't like it you can swap back and more than likely you will be easily able to sell the orange one.
I think it it would look good honestly. The track edition's is red, and it looks nice. It just gets lost in the entire red interior, which is a shame.
I think you have just the right amount of orange that the center console lid would look good. If the entire front/back seats were orange it would be too much, but there is enough black/orange that it will look really good!
