Tuesday, June 21, 2022, which happens to be the first day of summer, my RCF goes in for the installation of the front bottom seat cushions. I will post photos the same day. I am also going to post the grand total cost for this insane idea I went ahead with. I’m asking everyone who is reading this post to put in a prayer for me for everything to work out in this final and crucial stage in my interior swap. Thank You ClubLexus Members!

A question, after looking at the 2019 10th Anniversary F RCF you posted, I noticed it has Blue seat belts to match the Blue seats, does the JDM have matching Orange seat belts?

Thank you. Unfortunately the Japanese Special Edition interior does not have orange belts. Once I started this project I couldn’t just quit 1/2 through it. The passenger front seat cushion was the only snake. Everything else was just removing the original parts and replace with the upgraded parts.

Thank You. It took 7 1/2 years to complete but I would bet that I have the only USA RCF with this interior. Goes well with the Molten Pearl exterior color.
Looks so nice! So happy this all worked out finally, following from the start it was a bit of a roller coaster ride to watch, so I can only imagine how you felt going though it. The best part of it is that you won't find another one like it in the entire United States!

That's pretty rad you got it done. So frustrating Japan still puts out special options only available in Japan.
Thank You. I agree that Japan should offer more attention to the USA market. Like the carbon hood, it’s been available everywhere but the USA except for the track edition. How about Japan offering an interior like I just installed in the USA. Offer different colors (where I have orange) like red and blue. Have the same color stitching like the orange stitching in mine. Give the USA market what it deserves. Also Lexus, on special editions, finish the back seats. 2019 RCF special edition and 2022 track edition(see attached photos of both) Personally, I think it looks cheap and unfinished. Again, thank you for your post. I love my interior especially while driving it, I’m wrapped in orange. My previous orange vehicles were a 1969 Orange Camaro SS convertible(in the 70’s) and a 1969 Camaro Indy Pace Car(in the 80’s). I prefer my 2015 Molten Pearl RCF to both of those. 2022 RCF Track Edition Interior 2019 RCF Special Edition Interior My 2015 RCF with the Japanese Special Edition Interior
This is really cool. $24.7k is NBD when your interior looks that good.
Just like Nigel said, it’s only money. Personally I think my RCF interior now is nicer than my LC500. I also would rather drive the RCF over the LC. Mileage on my 2018 LC is only 1,997 miles kind of proves that. Neither one is driven in the rain is also a reason for the low mileage. Also it has been raining almost every day here in Seattle since September. We are going to have a whole week now of great weather so both will get some road trips in.

HAAHAH it's ok they don't need it!
I keep telling my mom to remodel her whole damn house but she is hell bent on leaving everything that they've saved to me and my sister... I keep telling her.. SPEND YOUR MONEY and ENJOY it! I don't need your money. I'd much rather her be happy with stuff she'd done than to save all of it and not spend a dime only to pass and not do anything with it. You don't work all your life to not enjoy stuff...etc
