Not sure if this was already mentioned but, as far as I know, you don't want the back ends mounted down low like that, you need a harness bar behind the seats so you don't get pulled down in case of a collision. I could be wrong though....

Low mounting points can compress your spine in a bad accident. A harness bar across the back seat closer to shoulder height would be a better choice.

sorry, didn't see or know that was in the picture. But for those thinking of using harnesses, incorrectly installed harnesses can cause more harm tham good.

Agreed! Angles and geometry are very important.

Double shoulder belts without a rollover hoop is a bad idea. The roof on the car isn't strong enough to prevent your spine from being fully crushed with two shoulder belts and no rollover hoop. Harness bars neglect everything important about surviving a rollover by providing you a fully supported erect spine as the roof crushes down on you.

Might want to rethink this whole thing, and yes indeed latch connections have been derated to 65 pounds total weight, car seat + child. I looked into this when I had Recaro ProRide seats in my IS F. It was more than disappointing how NHTSA made LATCH restraints pretty gutless when the convenience of using them was so wonderful and the ProRide weighed 34 pounds all by itself.
