It would defeat the purpose since the goal is to lower the center of gravity over a steel roof. Moonroof with its mechanism is a good 40 lbs heavier than a steel roof and the carbon fiber roof is about 23 lbs lighter than steel roof. You can do the math as putting a moonroof with carbon fiber will essentially be purely for aesthetic purposes.

I like to compare the RCF to a Vantage. Not the fastest car, not the lightest car, but damn it looks good and has performance capabilities while keeping everything luxurious and slick!

very true - not a track car. The roof was at least an attempt to lower the CG on an already hefty girl.

My point was, a bigger factor is where the weight compared to how much the weight is. If the same amount of weight makes the car top-heavy car rather than the weight near the bottom, both of them would exhibit different handling characteristics. The top-heavy car exhibits more "pendulum effect" than the lower CoG car.

I agree... If people are turning this into an all out track car then this would apply, but the majority of owners bought this car for more day to day purposes. If I wanted a track toy, it would def not be this RCF.
