Holy crap! I have driven it maybe 10 miles and I checked the MPG (finally found it) and it shows 8.9?!?! I was ONLY IN SPORT mode twice.

Other than that, I really like it! I will give the wife a test drive in Economy mode

reset the tracking, driving conservatively you will squeeze 16-17mpg in city. The 8.9 is from the test drives before you purchased. Welcome aboard.

Welcome. Gas is still cheap. Just have fun, but don't get a speeding ticket though. It's a lot more expensive. My commute is 25/75 (street/fwy with traffic) and I get around ~19 mpg.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the mpg. I would focus on the "fun factor" of driving the RCF.

In the beginning I TRIED to drive the RC F in eco mode........it was just too painful for me. I now drive in mostly Sports+ .

You know what they call that feature on all vehicles right? The "Lie-O-Meter" because its never truly accurate.
Hand Calculations are the only true way to determine the MPG. After driving this car for awhile, you wont care less what it gets per gallon. It should really have an "Adrenaline Meter" Feature when driving it in Sport+ with Manual Paddle Shifts!

I average 22.5 mpg for normal driving, 65%/35% Highway/City driving. Got 28 mpg driving from Texas to Virginia last August.

I made the mistake of flipping over to that early on. It gets better once you develop self control, but I was in Sport+ and doing a lot of giggle-inducing acceleration early on, so I was getting some really painful numbers.

Spoiler

I found how to show the MPG on the dash, so I'm slowly climbing out of 12 MPG< but yeah, putting it in S+ doesn't seem to help it....
