Tow Hook License Plate Adapter?
Anyone using the tow hook to hold your license plate with good results? I can't find any good companies that sells the bracket that inserts into the tow hook to hold the front license plate. Here is a pic of the part I am referring to.

I have this one. It is very strong and well built. I have run it for over a year and not a single issue.

We had this for another car, MB GLA250 4Matic.
It caused interference with the auto emergency stop safety feature. The car suddenly brakes HARD without warning going at highway speeds bc it falsely senses there was an obstacle and pending crash so all the built in auto stop mechanisms went to work.....very scary experience. We took it off and all ok again.
If your RCF does not have to auto stop feature, then it might be ok.

Wasn't a fan of having an "Off-Center" Marker Plate - so went with this instead. Way too pricey IMHO, but they cut me a super deal. These enable the Owner to remove it in 2 seconds whenever the need arises. Only requirement is drilling two tiny holes up underneath the plastic splashpan behind front lip. That's it....

Since yoos guys seem to be doing the same type of thing, I'm curious why there could be such a drastic price difference between these? I saw a ton of them from $80-$110, and this one is a mere $22.99. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you must remove that little "Hidden Door" thing on the front Grill? I even threw some Plumbers Tape on the threads. Sure wish the whole Grille was visible but unlike many of you, Virginia requires a Front Marker Plate.

I have owned a few different style tow hook License plate holders. The Craven Speed are built the best IMHO and are more expensive. I did have a less expensive one on My RC350 and it worked fine.

Yep, I use the Cravenspeed mount......easy to install and very heavy duty......worth the price IMO.

I live in AZ, where a front plate is not required. But I'm curious - what's wrong with the OEM plate holder that mounts the plate in the center? I would hate to have a front plate on my RC-F, but if I had no choice, I don't see any advantage to using one of these after market mounts versus OEM. Someone please explain! Thanks

I don't want to drill holes in my front Bumper. I am required here in California to have a front plate. I like this set up because no damage to grill and I can remove plate in minutes.
On my Miata someone misdrilled the holes on the front bumper. Basically looks like they put it on crooked and then remounted it. If you take the front plate off there are five holes. 2 that are wrong and uneven. 2 That are right and then one random hole where someone totally misdrilled. This is what I want to avoid.
