Spoke with Discount tire again. They said to just take it to the dealer and they will reimburse me.

I figured I'd keep you all updated. When I ran a test with tech stream I got this transmitter error. I re entered all the IDs in and entered one wrong on purpose. It gave an error that it could not connect to the ecu and my tpms light came on. I checked and ID 2 showed no tire pressure as expected. I entered them correctly this time and got the ecu error. However the tpms light went off and all tire pressure readings were on. No codes either. Still nothing on dash.

FYI I have had no luck programming/loading new TMPS codes to my 15 RCF using my ATEQ TPMS Quickset.

I can't understand why they make it this difficult. The shop used something similar to what you tried. I tried tech stream. 0-2 so far. Will try to see what else I can try. I'd rather try to resolve it on my own so I can help people that have the same issue.

Agreed! It's not rocket science here. We're just trying to enter an alphanumeric code. Should be able to do it in the vehicle setup menu.

Looking up the codes does not give me much. It's some communication error even though it makes the changes. Some module is not getting the info. I changed the tire pressure and it showed in tech stream. So it can read that.

So what did you figure out and how did you resolve the issue Randbrus?

The dealer ended up fixing it. Said they just coded it again...

Another post from someone who's been thru this as well. So take it FWIW. Went from Stocks to 20s, back to stock after my Pothole issue, then went back to Stocks while having new custom wheels made. The Light was ON but I could live with it. When new Wheels arrive - The Shop had to Clear out the TWO other Wheel/Tire/TPMS sets within the ECU so this 3rd set would sync up.

I did have nothing show up on the TPMS Dash screen for a few days, but the light was no longer on. Eventually ALL came back on without having to play "Press the Button" games. Best of Luck!
