what are some small things that bug you about the Lexus RC F?
the only reason i bring this up is because i got a Loaner vehicle from the dealership, a new Lexus ES. i noticed it had some things done slightly differently that i wish the RC F had.(i own a 2015)
1. the parking brake, this is probably the only thing on my list that i hated before even getting into another lexus. i wish the RC F had that electronic parking brake button, hell, i would take the old fashion stick you pull up, that foot well one is annoying lol.
2. Digital clock.....why is there no digital clock in the RC F? sure i can tell time from the analog clock, but it would be nice to have the digital time on the gauge cluster next to the temperature
3. retractable seat when turning off the car, i only put this on here because its the coolest feeling thing to have the seat auto retract like that when turning off the car, lol.
4. turn signal stock...ive gotten used to it, but i wish it had that hard click like in the ES, where you can absolutely tell if you pressed it too hard or not.
thats it, all really minor Quality of Life things, like i said before, im fine with the Car the way it is, beside the parking brake, but man it would have been sweet to have these small changes.

It bugs me that I don't own one lol.
Does the RCF have illuminated door handles? That's one thing that never gets old and is a nice welcoming touch as I approach the RLX Sport Hybrid.
Based on your minor list of gripes, clearly the RCF is an overall nicely packaged sports coupe...

yes, it has illuminated door handles, they call it a "puddle light"
Most annoying thing about the car for me is the mouse pad to navigate the electronics, it's far too finicky. Secondly, my rear defroster sucks, not sure if it's because of the tint or they just suck in general.

I'm the outlier here, I want less stuff not more. Power folding stuff just adds more weight which is one of my primary bugs...the car could be more dynamic in terms of its eagerness to go. The gear ratios and the trans programming are to blame here, not the platform. They could have upped the ante if they wanted. I HATE the fact that the drive select choices don't stick and make me redo them but I treat it like a pre-flight checklist I don't like the brake dust but you always saw that on AMG, M and even your basic porsche macan. Annoying but fixable. That super slow motor on the seat auto slide bugs me, I could move a manual one twice as fast and save the weight. Did not realize but one of my bugs was the tires, the 4s tires remove a bit of that vagueness. I miss carplay now that I have it in my daily Honda. Gamechanger for navigating, listening to media and asking Siri to call contacts and answer/send text messages or emails.
I guess I'm bugged by what could have been, all the raw materials are here. It's just would not have been what the typical Lexus customer wanted and I'm sure their market research confirmed that.

Same with most, the infotainment system sucks! Navigation, I use my phone instead. Seats, I have #3 set to all the way back, so I just push a button when needed. I honestly think it would be annoying to have your seat move back and forth when turning the IGN key ON/OFF, there are times that I turn the the car off but I'm not necessarily stepping out of it.
I also wish the drive mode goes back to the last setting when car was turned off, it has been a routine for me to press the TVD button twice and turn the **** to the right twice upon starting the car.

For me it's short...
1. The remote app is horrendous. When I had it, either it didn't connect or I had to constantly re-enetr my info.
2. There's a slight metal on metal rattle coming from the left front. I've had 2 2015's and they both did it.
3. The touchpad has latency, the head (screen) unit is slow and too small
4. I wish it had auto hold BRAKE
With all that, I do really enjoy it so I guess it could be worse

This has been mentioned before, I believe in the ISF forum. Anyway, someone suggested that you set Memory Position 3 all the back, and you use that when exiting or entering the car. I have done that, and it works quite well. But, it be be a lot nicer to have a retractable seat. I've only had that in one vehicle I have owned, a '93 Lexus SC300 5MT.

i personally dont have a problem with the touch pad, you get used to it, plus the screen is too far back to warrant it being touchscreen. i will say i dont care for the navigation either, i just use my phone.
