Present and Future Modification List
#62
All my mods I mentioned in the original post are completed.
I'm waiting until the border opens up as I have my CF splitter stuck on the US side
I just got PPF done on the front of my car (hood, bumper, headlights, mirrors, and fenders). And of course a full detail prep prior to installation and I got the fine line that the dealer initially installed all cleaned up cause they slightly cut into the paint for that cheap half hood PPF job lol.
I got the new 2020 emblem that I still need to put on.
Illuminated sills are installed absolutely love them!
Brand new mats put on and they make a nice difference!
For now, that will be it. Next will be new tires and a premature spark plug change. I also sold my GS350 and I'm looking for a blue NX F-Sport as a second car.

When you purchase your tire, buy Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in XL version. They are so much better than the OEM RCF-Spec Pilot Super Sport. A lot more aggressive and sharper tire. The car does not lean on the sidewalls at all.

lol, huge loan. There’s actually a more expensive version that’s around 270 CAD lol I really wanted that one but I have a replica diecast of my 2003 Cobalt Blue C4S by the same manufacturer so wanted to keep it consistent lol

Now, that it has been a year, here are the updates:
- Did full mainteance and service on the car at 19,200 KM. Everything checked out. OEM brakes and battery still good.
- Replaced OEM Pilot Super Sports with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in XL (extra load) version with stiffer sidewalls. I did not go with the 2020 RCF-spec since they are not extra load. What a difference these tires made. Big difference in sharpness and response. Very flat attitude and no sidewall roll. Huge grip.
- Ditched the idea for throttle controller.
- Intake options are back on the table. I want more induction noise. My top choice right now is Takeda intake with the conical oil filter. It retains stock sealed airbox while replacing the pipe and the filter with more flow.
- Planning on getting RR racing ultimate steering response bushings, but with the amazing tires, I will do it either later this summer or early next year.
- Resonator delete on my Invidia full catback exhaust is on hold for now. I enjoy the noise the way it is right now so I am reluctant to mess it up.
Future mods:
RR Racing ultimate steering response lower control arms
'20 RCF-Spec XL-rated MPS4S
Front lip spoiler
Throttle controller
Resonators removed on the Invidia catback (potentially in the future, if I need more sound)
RR race tune (potentially, if it is safe)

Old thread revival:
Since my last post, I have done almost all of the mods and some that I did not plan on and did anyway I had planned above. As the signature says:
Present Mods:
- Invidia full catback exhaust with Titanium Tips
- AFE Power Takeda Stage 2 Cold Air Intake
- AFE Power v3 SprintBooster (I changed my mind and very happy with it. Makes it feel like an additional 30 ft-lbs of torque based on how it slingshots off the line).
- Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (Extra Load Sidewalls)
- AntiGravity lightweight Lithium Ion 24 Amps battery with built-in jump start feature (30 lbs weight reduction).
- Weighed my RCF with 1/4 tank fuel and no driver/passenger (3960 lbs)
- Eibach 20 mm spacers
Future Mods:
- RR Racing ECU Tune is now on the top of my list for next mod (Jan - Feb, 2022)
- RR Racing Ultimate Steering Response street/track lower control arm bushing (moved down below the tune (Spring/summer, 2022)
- Alignment after I do the RR Racing USRS LCA bushing (Spring/summer, 2022)
- Carbon Fiber mirrors (failed this summer when my order did not arrive from China. Will try again next year) (Sumner, 2022)
- Carbon Fiber chin spoiler (TBD)

This is a pretty informative thread. Here's my list.
Present Mods:
- PPE Equal Length Headers
- Invidia catback exhaust
- AFE dry panel filter
- RR Racing intake heat shield
- RR Racing air-oil separator (fixed blowing smoke issues at the track)
- Swift Spec-R lowering springs
- RR Racing USRS lower control arm bushing
- RR Racing engine mounts
- Figs 2-piece rotors front & rear
- Endless MX72+ brake pads
- RR titanium pad shims
- 15mm spacers front & rear
- OEM Lexus puddle lights
- Custom tune using VF Tuner

Future Mods:
Don't really have much more planned, so these are more wish list items I guess. Some are probably hard to get, so if you know of any part outs, hit me up!
- TRD or Tom's front spoiler (all other brands are just a lip, I want functional aero)
- TRD or Lexon Exclusive rear spoiler
- Tom's chassis bracing
- Bigger infotainment screen (debating on 19+ retrofit, or one of those Android add-ons)
- Coilovers at some point

Nice. Just an idea. Get the SprintBooster v3 alongside your RR racing tune. You will love it (if you already have not tried it yet).

- Weld in high flow cats that came with my headers ...maybe ...I dunno.

I'm using VF Tuner for the tune, not RR, and have modified the throttle tables. Feel like that's a cleaner way to do it vs some module.
