I see a red LC500 zipping around my office roads every so often. The exhaust is pretty loud.

 

I've seen 7 RC Fs and 4 LC 500s sporadically in the past two years and I live in a large urban area. Whenever I take my car out, I get lots of gawkers. These cars are rare to see.

I was leaving one of the local dealerships after picking up some carpeted floor mats a few months back (my car only had the rubber winter mats in it when I purchased it), and I spotted another blue RC-F (this was prior to my wrap) go past as I was waiting at a light. I caught up to him a block or two down the road, he saw me, we both gave a nod of respect and went our separate ways. Other than that, I haven't encountered any others.

That said, while I was at the gym last month I did have a woman stop and ask me if that was my purple RC-F in the parking lot...she proceeded to tell me about her IS-F (also a USB) and we had a nice chat about both cars for a few. When I left, I took a quick walk around of her IS-F and it was absolutely flawless. I also regularly spotted a white LC500 up near where my parents live when I'd go visit, but never ran into the owner.

 

Even the V6 are kind of rare around here, I've only seen a dozen or so not on dealer lots. They have to be getting sold to someone, right?

I know someone on the forum has a USB one in Fairfax, but I haven't seen them. There's a white LC500 I see parked in a nice neighborhood (usually next to a black Hummer H1, I want his driveway) frequently.

 

I don't see many V6 out there. Take a look at this link, they simply don't seem to be selling many RC line cars. I'm sure ours are a very tiny fraction of that number.
