This is the same BS toyota DEALERS never learned from back in the Supra MKIV days... They ADMed the Supras early on in the first 1.5 year, and killed the market desire that was already heading towards SUVs anyway. If they had just sold more of them straight out, they would have been in more folks hands creating buzz for the next years of buys, but no they soured the market. Then Toyota US had to put required sale price caps on the anniversary Supras so the dealers wouldn't pull the same ADM crap again, and they could get all the cars actually sold. The greedy dealerships will be the ones to hurt Lexus sales and future allocations, no one else. Lexus corporate needs to nip this in the bud before it wrecks their future F car sales. They need all the cars to sell as fast as possible while the release buzz is hot, and that will get them more requests for a TE or other special models for the next year.
He's putting some miles down and can't talk right now. At least if I got one you wouldn't here from me for a few days, neither would work. Lol.
But an additional $50k? C'mon...lame.
Really?? Lame for who? You may not think it worth it but I do. Same type of comments about the LFA when I bought it, from people who hadn't seen one nor ever driven one. To be the owner of a cool car that is 1 of 50 in the USA is worth a bit of a premium to me, and you only live once.

I am with you. It is just money.
If I could swing it I would buy one in a heart beat!

Hey, no offense intended. I wasn’t the only one that mentioned that markup is tough from dealerships. I don’t think msrp is lame but wow I guess dealerships can just jack it up.
