It’s a clear film like Xpel but thicker and shinier.
My dealer said if I passed on my TE his next shot at one Nov/Dec and that’s winter in Seattle so I was lucky to grab mine when I did.

Unfortunately, Lexus did not send a RCF track edition in this year's "driver's car of the year". Was very curious how it would do around Laguna Seca in Randy Pobst's hands. Toyota sent the Supra so it might be a strategic decision to not have RCF TE be compared directly to the Supra as it is a brand new car.

I’m pretty sure with the weight loss and carbon ceramic brakes alone you’d see a couple of seconds in track time for sure over a stock RC-F.

Post some pictures once you have it and maybe your impressions.
You can rent an indoor storage space and store the ISF there or if you don't feel you would be driving the ISF enough to justify renting a storage space then selling is the only option available.

Here are a few lowlight pics to try and help convince ya to get TE. Fresh wash and sealed with Wolfgang Sealant.

I'm going to part out the IS-F and then trade it back to the dealer
I have the storage space, I just don't want to deal with the 1) insurance 2) registration 3) emissions testing
Are you seeing any issues with your carbon fiber?
Is it easier to park / drive than the IS-F?

I haven’t driven a ISF but the car drives very nice and is easy to park and get in my garage with a crappy driveway angle. No quality issues that I have found anywhere on the car. I had access to a 16 Ferrari 488 for the weekend/350 miles and it was a low optioned car but the TE interior is nicer.
lol
I hope to someday own a Ferrari and really like the driver focus and almost all controls on the steering wheel. The bluetooth/audio system sucks in the 488 but sound is not bad once you fight getting connected.

Same as rp2000r, my RCF is a November, 2015 build so almost 4 years old. Zero issues with the carbon fiber roof, spoiler and the interior carbon trim.

Definitely had some carbon trim replaced under warranty
