Default RC F Headliner Removal

Hi folks,
I'd like to know if there is anyone who has has experience in removing the headliner in the RC F vehicle?
If so, do we know if the entire dashboard also needs to be removed as well before the headliner is actually removed from the vehicle?

Also, is there anything that would prevent the vehicle from being driven with the headliner removed, assuming you put the seats and seat belts back in?

Thanks in advance..

Question

K..gotta ask. Why? $75000 luxury car, why remove the headliner?
the dash isn't going to be the problem, its the Curtain Airbags going off in your face I'd be worried about.

In my case it would be to install a starlight headliner

Please do not attempt! Removal of the windshield is needed! You will have to bend and wrinkle the headliner of you dont remove the windshield. This comes from a master Lexus tech.

Ouch! Thank you for the response and the heads up on this one The service manual states that you have to remove the entire dash BUT nothing about the windshield.. and that was was crazy enough to decide not to even attempt it. Thanks again..

I bought a used RCF with sunroof(or moonroof). There is a wet spot on the front right side of the headliner. I removed the right side plastics up to the bottom. There is small amount of water under them. Right floor is wet. I tried to clean the drains with the help of a wire. After that, when I pour water into the sunroof, it drains under the vehicle from 2 points at that side. However, it also drips from the right front corner of the headliner(maybe I pour too much water). I removed the sunroof glass by loosening the 4 bolts, there were leaves in the corner of the water canal at the back. I cleaned everything, used silicon spray for the glass seal. For now it seems fine, no more wet floor, no more foggy glasses. But one day, water dropped from front headliner light area and there was some water in the one of the cup holder. I don't know what was done to the vehicle by the previous owners and I have a hard time finding a solution to the problems with the roof. I'm open to any suggestions.
