Default Quarter mile times?

Asked this on the FB Page without many results. What kind of quarter mile times are you guys getting? Stock/lightly modded/FBO/tune etc? I only saw one post in the history, with some 12.5 H/E and 12.8ish times stock.
I've ran 12.7@112 with just exhaust on ISF, and 12.3@115 with exhaust and tune and MPSS. Just curious as RCF/GSF is on the "next car" list. I've only seen two local ones, stock RCF did 12.9 and a GSF with 20's did 13.1.

Anyone in the 11's without SC?
Thanks!

You ran a 12.3 in the ISF with just an exhaust and tune? That's a very good time! How much power did the tune give you? I used to have an ISF with an exhaust (though no tunes were out when I had it). Didn't run it much, but 12.8s were about the norm..

As for the RCF, I have not put it on the track so I cannot answer your question. I recall when the RCF first came out, people were saying it was about as fast stock as the ISF was with intake (worthless) and exhaust, but again I never saw any hard data to back that up.

Yes,
.
Best before was 12.7 with BF goodrich summers, just catback and intake elbow. With the addition of the RR tune and MPSS tires and removing the jack/spare I did 12.3 and 12.5 in same night. KCLV was at 24.3 or something.

Honestly I felt a nicer difference with the tune than from the catback. I've raced a stock one with one passenger in my car and lost from a roll, and raced a stock one just by myself and easily pulled on him. But for some reason I don't see too many FBO or lightly modded RCF posting times online.

RCF is really a higher speed beast (and for windy roads) and I have had crazy luck from highway 40 mph rolls. It is not geared optimally for 1/4 mile especially with its longer powerband, the gearing is too tall for short runs like 1/4 mile. From what I heard, ISF is easier to off the line as it has better low end torque/weight ratio. I have talked to a few who reduce the rear tire pressure to 25 psi (or get a smaller circumference tire) so that it can make the gearing more optimal for 1/4 mile.

Stock best recorded time is a 12.5@114 mph by E.Kanoo's RCF on sea level in Bahrain. There are not a lot of runs with experienced guys on sea level where the 60 foot is well over 2.0 seconds, which makes it difficult to get a good 1/4 mile.

Bolt on RCF did 12.0@118.4 mph on street tires and 20 inch wheels.

I can't wait to see what a 2020 performance pack (without the TVD) will trap with full exhaust and a tune.

A 119 or 120 trap speed would make a great daily driver.

I think you mean, the track edition. The 2020 RCF has an overall shorter final ratio of 3.2:1 as opposed to the 2.97:1 of the pre-2020 RCF and the track edition has weight reduction so it should be interesting to see how the test numbers come out.

I plan on putting a 285/30/19 rear for my next set of tires. It will achieve a similar effect as overall shortened gearing.

It was my understanding the basic 2020 is 50lbs lighter and can be ordered with the carbon fiber package but without the TVD. From what I can tell that puts it somewhere in the 2800s 3800s.

I think you mean 3800's. If they lopped off enough weight to hit 2800 pounds, I'd have two of them in the driveway today.

Highly doubt you'd want it at 2800lbs as it wouldn't be a luxury car at that point....moreso a tin can on wheels.

Porsche makes (or made...the newest gen is heavier) some luxury sports cars under 3k lbs. They weren't quite as plush as the RC F, but high end materials and leather. It's possible!

3500lbs would be awesome.

I wouldn't care even a tiny bit about luxury at that weight. With nearly 500 hp and 2800 pounds, it's going to be a rocket.

Well, looks like a Honda Civic hatchback with a Mugen motor swap and a large turbo is your next car!! Under 2800 lbs, over 500 to the wheels, and is a rocketship! There was one at the last half mile event in Florida I raced at and it stomped my FBO ISF into the ground, with ease. It also trapped higher (high 160's) that all the stock 720S' out there as well....lol. Just a comparison since that's your next car....or maybe it isn't since you don't care about luxury.... maybe the Civic is!!😋😋😌

I'm not interested in wrong wheel drive cars. And that car particularly would be a nightmare. I'm talking about a car from the factory, legal in all 50 states, with a warranty. I've had project vehicles. The first thing you need, more than anything, is a good pair of shoes because you're going to be walking at some point.

😂😂😂 Have to agree with you. But def ironic that a 720S (stock) caught fire at the end of the 1/2 mile there and was towed out😔. Heard there are tons having those problems. Wonder if they're warrantied? Or what the issue is? I know one thing, I've NEVER seen a stock car so fast.... gracious! Love watching them work their magic! The other McLaren's don't do anything for me personally.
