Supra is a little shorter but hood and roof line similar proportions. I didn’t get to drive the Supra it’s fresh off the truck in delivery mode until dealer programs.

A big difference is why I like the RCF more is that it has a trunk not connected to the rear windshield, while the supra is basically a 3-door car or the rear window is attached to the trunk door. Also quad exhaust tips.Lack of carbon fiber is also an issue. While matte paint is a pain to clean, it looks better than anything.

Hands down the RCF is way better in every category. Especially, when compared to the updates on the 2020 model. Of course my opinion is only subjective. The Supra will be a lot more tuner & mod friendly. In which I think will suit your needs more. Unless you plan dropping major cash & handing over the RCF to Rafi @ RR Racing. I was a big fan of your ISF & you definitely did a lot to it. I would understand if you want to try something different.

BTW, Supra is in this year's "Best Driver's Car" edition where Randy Pobst and other race car drivers will do lap times around Laguna Seca. Was hoping Lexus will send the RCF track edition (or at least, 2020 RCF carbon edition), but did not.

If I had to choose between only these two I would

I am sure Supra will be very popular and am a fan of this car. It will have its following and it will do great with its target market especially with the A80/2JZ fan crowd. I have not a bad word to say about it.

Having said that, here brand new Supras (without markups) are selling for what I paid for my mildly used RCF. 2 years ago when I first parked it in my garage, I felt very lucky to be able to own it. Still I feel the same way about having the resources to easily afford this car. The 4 seats makes it my family sports car to enjoy with wife and daughter with a usable trunk. Also, having a naturally aspirated high-revving V8 was the single biggest reason why I picked the RCF especially as a dying breed.

I mean, from a 5.0 Liter V8, how could one argue against almost 1000 extra rpm to play with than with that straight six in the Supra? This V8 is starting to hit its stride at rpms where Supra's inline six is running out of breath.

Also, the noise is something the Supra will never be able to match.

You can’t beat the V8 sound trust me. The only thing I may like as much is the sound of a blow off valve. Lol. That said the Supra is almost 700lbs lighter. I say get both. Lol

Very different cars to fill different desires. I still don't love the looks of the Supra but overall the car is growing on me a bit. I just don't have the desire to even think about paying the $25k markup my local dealership is currently asking, and I do use my rear seats for carting around my kids from time to time, so the Supra really doesn't fit my needs. I got rid of a Porsche Cayman for similar reasons. That said, I'm excited to see what the tuning community does with this car in a year or two. I don't believe it'll become a cult classic like the MKIV, but there's definitely room for tuner improvement.

The Supra looks pretty good. I like it. I cant wait to see it in person.

I think the RCF is a more muscular masculine looking car. I personally also like the V8. I am a little older and grew up closer to the muscle car era. The RCF in many ways is the perfect muscle car.

I wish I could own both!!!!
