Register and check the Service History of your "F". The Pre-Delivery information will give you the date the car arrived at the dealer.
Lou
I registered when I bought the car in 2015, pre-delivery date is 10/27/15. DOM is 09/15, the discrepancy is the vin number being higher than one with a later build date.
The only thing I can think of ( I work for Toyota/Lexus) coming from the service manager, is that they produced in the correct month and waited for a part necessary to finish the build...the VIN is stamped in just before the vehicle leaves the line, but the 'scheduled' production date doesn't change....Just a theory.
My 2019 build date is 10/18 on the black tag and last 6 of vin are: 007279. My salesperson also gave me the below (see image) to show how the RC F got to the dealer (Cleveland Metro Lexus). Kind of interesting and a google of Logistic Park Chicago give you: https://www.google.com/maps/place/BN...!4d-88.1477009
If you zoom in on the cars, to the left of the tracks, you get an idea of popular car colors. Assuming this is a typical "load" of cars.

Many of those vehicles are in white protective cacoons, that are only removed at the dealership. That or large panels have protective film adhered to large panels. Still cool to see this, and I"m from Chicago.

There are lots of "white" cars. My RC F had white plastic covering the top surfaces of the car. Nothing on the side though. Kind of amazing the logistics behind all this.
