RCF - Exhaust Systems
Hey y'all, happy Thursday!
I am a recently new to owning an RCF and have no idea where to start with exhaust options.
What I am ultimately wanting: I grew up around older muscle cars, my uncle has a few '46 Fords and love how the sound of the V8 "chugs".
My question: Without dropping $4k, are there some options to get the old school muscle car exhaust sound? What are some other set ups that you have tried and what are the results? Is there a noticeable performance gain? I want a louder sound but concerned with the cabin drone.
I honestly don't know much about exhaust systems or types. I live in the DFW area if anyone has a nice setup that I could hear in person (mobile videos never do the true sound any justice).
Thanks y'all!

I have the Invidia full catback exhaust. I spent a lot less than $2k installed on it. It is more smoother and melodic sounding because that is the sound I wanted. Not the brutal muscle car like sound you are looking for. Maybe, a full custom setup without mufflers and resonator? You might want to PM a vendor (like Josh@Meraki) on this forum for the best option for the sound you are looking for. Borla used to have a brutal, muscle car like sound. I think they don't make them anymore.
Yes, the performance gain is very noticeable, but most of it is in the high rpm (over 5500 rpm). The dynos are around +19 whp.
Here are random videos of Invidia (first one is mine) to give you an idea even though, it is not what you are looking for.

Maybe, this custom type setup (no mufflers, no secondary cats, bigger piping) might be closer to the sound you are looking for.

We Need An Aftermarket Exhaust Sticky
Beech My Friend -
A Question worthy of our famous Internal Search Engine, and one we've all asked at one point too. I'm 99% sure you'll find more Threads, Posts, Sound Bites, Imbedded Videos and opinions than anything else-except maybe "Which oil to use".....
I've compiled a number of Threads for you here -even the first one titled "Yes, Another Exhaust Thread" by some fool.
I should've grouped them into Brands - which would've made a Good Sticky for all Members seeking aftermarket exhaust systems!
