Yeah, just saw that. 3:02 is a decent lap time, but C&D said it definitely could use more traction. Cup 2 tires would have made it a seriously good lap time. Mercedes sent the C63 AMG S with Cup 2 tires and it ran a 2:57.

I thought a lot about that

When I picked up my car, it was raining pretty hard, I would NOT have been able to drive the car home on Cups

I have those on my FF, I do not drive it in the rain at all

My friend spun out on the track with a light drizzle of rain, he wasn't even going hard, oversteer on cup2's.
But on a regular day he said the grip is ridiculous.

Yeah, that is true. Just all other manufacturers are sending with Cup 2 or Corsa slick tires like the C63S or the Giulia. Having Cup 2 tires would make for good optics with a very impressive lap time.

Interestingly, RCF was faster than Supra in the straights. 139 mph vs 145 mph, but Supra cornered faster due to the 400 lbs weight difference and made up for lost time in the straights.

Default Cup 2 owners

To Cup2 owners who track, may I ask what else you have upgraded (brand specific pls) for track (dry)? And what you praise, what have not seemed a cost effective investment.

I asked as Cup2 owners as the tire alone would contribute a lot but of course all expenses are welcome.

Top questions:
1) have you changed f/r cambers +/-, use stronger bushes and how was it for tire wear before after?
2) If used Endless pads, do they last for a while due to the heavy weight of RC-F. And with which discs do they work the best.
3) Intake, filters?

Thanks,
Tufan
