Default New Parts Installed!

I had my RR Racing Carbon Spoiler installed today. Very happy with the quality and overall look on the car. Just a heads up for anyone buying this piece; there are four bolts that hold the OEM spoiler in place (two on each side). Mine were screwed in with Loctite which I didn’t know ahead of time and of course i completely stripped the head of one of the screws. I took it to a shop where they used a small torch to heat the screws and loosed them up if anyone else has this issue. I will post some pics aswell.

Nice, looks good. I was looking at this a while back but couldn’t find too many pictures. it looks like there’s a gap though, you should be able to adjust it, found this out installing my spoiler extensions.

Yeah you’re right now that I’m looking at it. It sits flush with the trunk when in the down position so I think I will leave it for now. Also I saw that when I removed the OEM spoiler it had a sort of foam padding on the bottom that probably filled most of that gap which the carbon wing did not come with.

Installed my Seibon Carbon BT Style Hood! Was fairly easy as long as there is another person to help obviously. The fitment was perfect and it looks amazing. I decided to remove the OEM struts because I have heard these are way too strong for how light the hood is so I will get some new ones. Also still need to attach the windshield sprayers as well.

Looks good man! Love my spoiler and hood, have the same as you, the windshield sprayers will take a little filing but will be fine.

Could you elaborate more on that? I was considering just having a shop install some new ones because I cannot figure out how to disconnect them from the OEM hood. I feel like it should be so easy but I haven’t had any luck.

To take out the old ones, they are spring clipped in, so put a small flat head screw driver into the middle indent and slight pressure inward and pressure to pull it out and it'll come out. The Seibon has the spots to put new ones in it but are rough cut (but the locations are spot on) so I used a needle file to get a more square opening to pop the new ones; Before you place new ones in, remember to route your water lines, due to the fiberglass under, you do not want to keep installing/removing the washer pissers for fear of softening that opening then it may be loose/wiggle over time.

I'll get you a quick picture, I think i took some, I remember though that it only took like 5 or 10 minutes to get them installed securely.

Nope, didn't take any photos, but I can get you one of the 'after install' but it'll almost look identical to the OEM...

Thank you! So quick update I actually got them out of the oem hood yesterday but I saw that theres no hole to feed the tubing through the hood. Would love to see a picture of your setup if you can grab one.
