Default Is a tune needed?

Hey guys,i was going to purchase a Joe Z exhaust for my 2018 RCF. Ive heard a tune is needed to make it run smoother. Is that true? Do i need a tune when i change the exhaust?

This is the link to the exhaust: http://www.modinjapan.com/pts-true-d...rc-f-2015.html

And this would be the tune: https://www.rr-racing.com/RR-Racing-...rcftune001.htm

Any help would be appreciated!!

would a tune help....sure. is it necessary for just an exhaust......nah. once you go the exhaust/header/intake route, then most definitely a tune. But for now, install that Joe Z exhaust, unplug your negative terminal for around 30 minutes to reset your ECU, then go have some fun. Or go to your dealer and have them flash your ECU to relearn. Just my .02

Full catback exhaust does not need any tune. The ECU adjusts according to the air/exhaust flow. HP gain is automatically.
