First, no such thing as best exhaust, way too subjective, but

+1 for Invidia
easy to install
well made
do not use OEM gaskets at the cat, not enough sealing surface
perfect sound for me - rumble in low rpm's which turns melodic higher up
I could not get past the shiny cans and pipe so I painted the end section black with high temp automotive paint - did not paint tips
highly recommend

Josh is the man for after market parts , there is none of the " best exhaust" its all about what you after, sounds and performance are really come down too got to go see and hear in person and sit inside to really know what u really want . Good luck with your search .

Novel was tuned mostly for sound. The gains are quite controversial. Not sure about Tom's, but the Invidia gives around +18 whp.

This is not exactly scientific, but gives a good idea of how much more midrange is available with Invidia

Because you think the other driver was a noob and not going all-out? They both had the same sport+ selected and it was in auto mode. Even if driver was a factor, still it was just about mashing the pedal.

I don’t think that’s the best sample size to use.

I’ve seen may drivers beat cars that they shouldn’t have beat. I think if they ran it back now that he’s familiar with the car it would be a lot different. But I think the stock car would indeed still lose. Based on my dyno sheets and dragy runs between stock and adding a catback.

Agreed. I put the disclaimer, the difference might not be accurate, but the difference is very apparent. When I put mine on, I felt the difference right away that I could feel it really wanted to rev out to redline much faster.

You should notice a pretty significant power different especially when you go past 6000 rpm. I noticed a significant change in power delivery as soon as I drove off the shop. Try resetting your ECU and it will learn from the new exhaust flow rate and make adjustments.
Can’t wait to get mine. I ordered from Josh mid December so hopefully it ships here shortly.

I went with the ARK catback. The Invidia shipping dates seem to keep moving back from the manufacturer. Josh had the ARK in stock.

Can you post up pictures of what it looks like with the painted mufflers? I am planning on doing the same but wasn't sure if I wanted to do the entire muffler or just the rear section that you would see when directly behind the vehicle... I just wanted to see a rear shot of your car with how the black looks. I think this is the perfect look but just want to see a real picture and not something i am imagining in my head...etc.

EDIT: 11-10-2021
For reference I painted the rear section of the muffler black. Kept the Ti burnt tips. Looks way better when standing behind the car.

Thanks
-Nigel

Default Know this exhaust?

This is a Japanese import I bought recently, still en route to me. I'm trying to figure out what the exhaust on it is. Anyone have an idea?

Thanks
